An image loaded into a matrix of dots. I was also looking at changing the dot matrix to an image and using transparency. Rich

I tried the same thing with a blend of two wavy lines converted to shapes. (200 steps)

I brought in the image of the VW, and used it as a fill for the blend, with this result.

It is a similar effect to the thread "Three steps to Bank notes."

    Thanks for the idea!

I couldn't recall who's image this was of the VW, so whoever created the VW, sorry if I used your image!

The first matrix was 100 X 130 dots. Too much for my system to handle. I was thinking more about simulating halftones. I also was trying cross hatching, but the straight line hatch wasn't very interesting. The curve line method was very attractive. Thought about trying to hatch specific areas, and using some of the line tools. something like engraving.Rich

    Set the line off, too.
