Here is my latest work. I wanted to make a design I could put on my web site because I noticed a lot of people searching for world trade center graphics. I tried to keep it simple so it would work well on web sites. You can see that this gif file is only 25k. I am also thinking of making some T shirts. But the printing might be expensive. I had to use a photo for my model of the buildings and I drew a sketch on paper then scanned it and then traced the whole thing in Xara X.

This was my original pencil sketch that I used to make the vector file. I hope to make more files like this using my drawings as a base for the vector files.

While I admire this wonderful effort, I wonder if it might be more effective if the twin towers were ghosted or outlined, to indicate their absense?

Hey Bruce nice pic I agree with Gary on the outline.. that would make the pic a little more in the remembrance sense.

    Hi Bruce,

I like your sketch and the Xara drawing you've made. I also agree with Gary and Bill, the twin towers would be represented as a remembrance by being more of an outline than as a solid drawing.

Very nice work, and I agree that using sketches works very well as a source for beginning a new drawing.

Thanks everyone for your comments. That is a good idea Gary. I am not sure how I would do it. Perhaps I would make the towers kind of faded or transparent. ? I will have to try some things and see how it looks.
