    Ok i guess this is what i came here for,lol thanx for the replies and here is a button i made today..kinda simple but i was bored.it might end up as a link button on webpage i am hiding..er....um..... building

    It's a little hard for me to read....not because of the language....but the text is too light....of course it could be my monitor, as I find that the led screens display colors a little differently.

    A rule of thumb....use darker text on light colored backgrounds....and lighter text on darker backgrounds.

    My other suggestion would be to add some dimension to the button itself. Check out Pinoy's site for some relatively simple tutorials on how to do that.

    Okay, you saved it as a .jpg, good start, you can work with that [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif[/img]

    I'm on 800x600 true color monitor resolution. So it looks blurry and hard to read on lower resolutions. I could use 1024 x 768, but it makes all text too hard to read. (What a drag it is getting old!)

    IMHO, your background gradient is mucking up your text drop shadows, causing the confusion....go for a plainer background for your button, and that should make it clearer.
