Plug-ins must be 100% Photoshop compatible. They must be 32-bit and you must be applying the filters to a RGB 24-bit image. You cannot apply a plug-in filter to a GIF image because it does not have a color depth of 24-bits (True Color). You also cannot apply a plug-in to a bitmap with Alpha channel transparency, although Xara will automatically convert the image to 24-bit but all Alpha channel transparency will be lost.

Also, if the filter requires a pixel selection, such as you would do in a bitmap editing application (Photoshop, PSP Pro, Photo-Paint) using the magic wand tool or by creating a mask, it will not work in Xara as Xara does not have any way to select individual pixels.

Works perfectly. Once it works, the number and variety of plugins becomes overwhelming. A whole new adventure.

    Thnx

you need to convert it from ffl to 8bf. I use Plugin Commander for that. There are 2 versions. Lite and Pro. I have the Pro but I believe that lite (free version) will do conversions. Here is a link to http://thepluginsite.com/ all sorts of fun links are there. Have a look and enjoy
