    Hello tioui

    and no :-)

You can change the color of the bevel. This can make the bevel look like it has a colored light source. You can apply any of Xara's fills to a bevel too.

Hold down the Ctrl key (on your keyboard) and click on the bevel to select the bevel. Then apply any fill you like.

    Does this help?

You can also experiment with transparency of the bevel. You can set it to bleach or to stained... etc. so you can simulate the lighting effect very nicely using Bevel angle, elevation, intensity, color and transparency...

Clone your object (Ctrl+K) apply another color and some kind of transparency (often stained glass works well) to the clone and change light orientation. Then you could clone it again and apply another kind of transparency to your second clone (brightness is often indicated).

You can even use different bevel profiles and add interesting effects!

Playing with several clones, different kind of transparency (fractals with hard or soft contrasting profiles), light orientation, ...

While working with a lot of clones this is easier to pass from one to another simply with the "Tab" key. You could also name each clone with the Name Tool and select it easily afterwards for any change via the Name Gallery.

    Enjoy!

Those tips are great. The second has an eroded texture to it.

    Merveilleux!
