This picture “Road to church “ I`ve done for Corel contest in 1997 and it was monthly winner.
This church I`ve drew was built in Victory Park in Moscow. I changed landscape for create philosophical idea of real value of a human life. Evening time is for me a symbol of an end of life- time for praying and thinking about God and His desire for us.

I've been working on a tample sort of building with lots of gold parts and a landscape and clouds in the background like yours, however, not turning out as I had pictured in my mind! Oh well, Awsome pic, the ground looks great and so does the clouds, and of course, the church, I love it!
    Great job

Magnificent image - especially the clouds and the golden highlights, and I’m impressed by the detail of the Icons over the doorway!

    Thanks for good comments.
Same time ago I decided don`t change finished pictures. As this pictures was done in 1997 and was an entry of contest I don`t think to add or change something here. Today I see some details I would do other way but I leave them like it was done. The idea was to create a temple as a holly place and piece of Haven on Earth. Everything around is not important ( analogy of soul and body, Jesus and desert and so on).
