Does Xara allow plug-in to handle vector graphics?

I am looking for vector graphics software as a
platform to implement my algorithms. Does Xara X
allow custom plug-in to handle vector graphics?

In this instance Xara is probably not the correct package, whilst you can add plugins for bitmap manipulation I don't think I have seen a vector plug in.

However CorelDRAW does allow quite low level access to it's internals via Corel Scripting or Visual Basic.

I believe there is a programming environment for Adobe Illustrator, but I don't know how or where people who produce plugins for it get their information.

In the past there was also a SDK for Freehand, but I don't know if it still exist?

But that should be a so nice dream if that was possible in Xara X ! Then, be sure I would learn programming !!!
