Thread: Mini Cooper

    Cars. More cars...
Egg's Volvo inspired this, as well as Ron's comment that there really isn't too many car postings. I guess James would have something else to count other than sheep if this goes on http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif...
Too many details.. Aargh, I go blind.

Draw. The hard way... http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif , I know....
No transparency or bitmap effects, just gradients and blends. Like they use to do it way back then http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif.
For those interested, I got the reference pic from this site:
    http://www.netcarshow.com/
Tons of pics. Enough to start a vector car forum if we have enough diehards willing to sacrifice their eyesight for it...

    Cool Car!
Do the rear window heater lines need to extend into the next section to the right?

    Cool Mini Grafixman http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/cool.gif

I agree with Dale re: the heater lines ... at least I noticed the same thing. I'd ask you if you did that in CorelDraw ... but I wouldn't want to incur the wrath of the artist.

    Great job.

The heater lines! Yes, I guess I missed that part... gotta fix that and update the pic when I find the time. The shadow on the rear wheel is a bit off, too http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif. C'mon eagle-eyed members, more C&C so I could improve this thing http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif. After staring at it for so long, one tends to get blinded to obvious defects. That's also one of the reasons for posting it.
Ed, it was masochistically done in Corel Draw http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif. And I'm not the wrathful type http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/wink.gif.

    Hey Dale,

You have to check out the After Dark post here! 15 pages of moon and sunset shots! Great stuff here, I have missed your input!

Original pic was updated, same place above. Thanks for the observation, guys http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif .
Wireframe below. No cheating with bitmap editors, really...

    Hey Grafixman,

Take a look at the very front of the car. there is no difference in color between the top of the hood and the front of the car... No shading of the red.
