thank you for your interest...
so let me describe my problem a bit;
i am using XaraX 1.0c DL2 Mar 13 2001. When i try to save my work this sign appears;
"An error accured (file does not exist)when oppining the file blabla.xar"

can you guess where is the problem? am i doing something wrong? all i do is to save a file. I've tried to reinstall the program but nothing changed.

On Februari 10th you state that you downloaded the trial version, and now you say that you are using XaraX 1.0c DL2 Mar 13 2001.

I can't follow, sorry.

If you don't work against time, time often works for you.

Erik - XaraX 1.0c DL2 Mar 13 2001 is the current download version.

goresimpson - The unregistered download is supposed to be able to save and reopen files without problems. Has it ever done so for you? ie. - is this a problem that just started? Does it only happen with a particular file or all files? Will it open .xar files you didn't create?

Did you try to contact Xara Ltd.?
Did you close all other programs (including virus software) as instructed when installing? Did you try saving as a .web file and see if that would open?

Sorry for having more questions than answers.

Regards, Ross

Thanks for the explanation, Ross. Yes, I'm paranoid, I know... Perhaps Microsoft has a job for me if my condition gets worse...

I'll keep silent untill I can come up with something useful. Promised.
