-- I found that M$ EXCEL can export cells to clipboard in WMF format
and this is extrimely cool when I need to make calendar.

I know that there could be 'Calendar Wizard' in Corel Draw from Oberon Software,
    but I didn't like them both http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
Maybe my idea could help someone in the future.

So here is "Making calendar in EXCEL" video tutorial (~650kb). Here is only 3 months, but
it is only from space saving reason. You will need TSCC codec or Camtasia Player
from XaraX1 CD to see it.
    Regards, Dmitry.

A very nice tutorial. I didn't know I could import such content from Microsoft Excel. That helps me greatly http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

I couldn't view your video, when I clicked on the link it tried to make me download a version of Irfan View older than what I have. When I declined I was unable to go further.

ANYHOW http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif I did play around with the idea and yes it is much faster to enter the dates for each month in Excel copying it and pasting it into Xara than the tedious method I was using in just using Xara to create a calendar (which I have done for the past several years) So Thank you.

    Hi Access,

You can also use the table data from MS Access in the same way.

When I draw a map in xara with about 1500 street names, it would take forever to build the street key. I disciscovered that you can go from xara... to access, via swf(html) file. No typing, not typos and I have exactly what is on the map...

I save the map as a .swf file, which gives me all the street names in a .txt format. I copy and past the street names into a wordpad file and put each street name on it's own line. Then import this into access. Sort the streets alphabetically, add the keys, then copy and paste the whole thing back into xara... short sweet and minimal typing on my part...

Dmitry, I guess it's so because we have more often to deal with different calendars for clients. I mean in ex-ussr )))

You think that is strange... try posting a C++ or Visual basic question here... You might get 1 maybe 2 responses in a week.
