I hate to impose on people, but I will. I am trying out a 3d program called Amapi, which is supposed to import .ai files. XaraX exports to .ai, but Amapi will not open these files. What I'm wondering is if some kind soul here who has Illustrator could copy the file I have attached in Illustrator for me. I only need it to complete a tutorial I am trying to do in Amapi.
    TIA

I'm not sure excatly what you need?

You need two lines shapes like that, or two shapes, as an AI file from Adobe Illustrator?

Sorry for the confusion. I need these two line shapes as an AI file. They are to be used as templates for something I am doing in Amapi.

    Thanks

I have Illustrator 10 and could take your Xara X file and save it out in Illustrator but the friend of the squirrels got here before me.

If you need Illustrator 10 for some reason you can send me the file.

    Hi ,
I often use vector drawing made into xaraX and exported (in .ai format)in Lightwave3d .(and till now I had no problems at all)

If .ai file exported from xara , doesn't works , try the .eps format , or at least try to rename a .ai file in a .eps file.

    Hope this help Luca
