The ear pieces are made of a soft kind of rubber, so the highlights shouldn't be stronger imo http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gifOriginally posted by Ballpoint:
Alien,
I think the bottom piece (the cold bit http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/wink.gif) is very realistic but maybe the ear-pieces should be shinier and the spring in the middle thinner and again shinier. It's terific art and I would love the skill to do realistic objects like this http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/cool.gif.
Christopher.
But now that I take a look at those ear pieces, I suddenly realise that I copied the left one to the right and their highlights are the same http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/eek.gif Sloppy work. Gonna have to change that http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif
I'm gonna make the spring shiny too. But I'm not all that happy with the spring and its support (it looks very n00bish). I think I'll make 2 versions: 1 with and 1 without a spring (with a round bottom instead of the current V-shaped one). The more the merrier http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/wink.gif
BTW thanks for the comments http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif I'm sure if you keep practicing, you'll develop your skills too. Not all my drawings are like this you know; I'm just starting to get there http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif
John, right you are. Thanks for that one. I think a clipview is in order here http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
