    Hi,
I'm making a prototipe of my board game and I am creating graphics with XARA!http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

I have a problem with this illustration. I would like fix this image because, as you see, the box, in the curve, first and second line are not similar and some are overlap! I would make only a ring divided in 16 piece...

    Anybody can help me?

    Thankshttp://www.ritornoalfuturofansclub.org/1.jpg

    Hi Spyro70,

If you want 16 equal pieces... That is the same as 360 degrees/16 = 22.5 degrees per slice.

    1. Draw a vertical line...
    2. Press cntl-K
    3. type 22.5 in the angle of selection box...
    4. repeat steps 2 and 3 6 more times...
    5. Select all 8 lines...
    6. add shapes
    7. draw a circle
    8. Place circle behind the 8 lines shape
    9. Slice shapes...
    10. break shapes...

Spyro, I would start with changing the constraint angle to 22.5 (1/16 of a circle)to divide the circle. Gary has a tutorial in the Xara Xone here explaining the process (and he does it much better than I could).

Ah, another fast learner. Looks great Spyro. Should the numbers covered by the orange and yellow pieces show through faintly? Or maybe they do in the original drawing?

    for JohnR

..Oh yes John, I love MB games and for my game I am ispirated myself to Milton Bradley Production. Do you know MB? In Italy their games are famous! http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Just I'll finish game I ask to MB for a chance!

    for Manson

Oh...the numbers on the orange and yellow pieces are missing numbers because it is so in original drawing.

These pieces are "channels" to pass from first ring to last ring and "viceversa" (it is written so, right?)

Anyway this board is an add-on of a more great board. If I finish soon the great board I'll post it in this forum, because I want condivide my work with who help me http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

    Thanks again
