Pretty much what the title says http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

I'd like to be able to wrap text round a cylinder so that viewed from the front the middle letters look normal, then they get thinner as you get further from the centre (b/c you're viewing them more on edge than straight on). Guess it's called altering the text perspective. Make sense? Unfortunately the standard fit-text-to-curve tool doesn't quite do it...

Anyone know how to do this with Xara?

download this zip file. it is from the shareware page of the xaraxone. tony roberts moulds

extract them to a folder on your c: drive name it what ever. i use c:\moulds then go to your clipart icon and click disc fills and add the folder.

to use import the cylinder mould and then copy to clipboard select your text presss the mould icon and click the clipboard icon in the toolbar for moulds.

    hope this helps

If you go to this link you can see all of Tony's envelope shapes along with a short tutorial for how to apply them.
