Picture Publisher, a long-standing favorite image editor of mine - which I thought was now "dead" - has just come out in version 9. I've been using it since 3.1, back in 1994. For those who can't afford Photoshop, the new Picture Publisher is a great bargain: $70!!!
Alas, they don't have a downlodable trial yet, hopefully that will come. The info sounds great!

    Thanks for the tip, Klaus.
Even if you CAN afford Photoshop, PicPub is a terrific program. Had total undo years before Photoshop. I have every ver since 4, and think ver 5 is the fastest & easiest, BUT ver8 has great Psychedellic Macros. So ver9 is probably better in some way.

The latest edition of PC Plus magazine (June 2001) has a free copy of Picture Publisher 8 on their cover CD.

If you buy a retail Matrox G450 you get PP8 as part of the software bundle.
