How does XARA fit into Talkgraphics?

I've been wondering about this.
Does XARA own and suppert this TalkGraphics forum? Does XARA even participate?

I've wondered because going to XARA.COM and asking for help is like asking George W. Bush to live in Syria. Doesn't seem like either would ever happen.

You can contact Xara's support by going to http://www.xara.com/support/xarax/, selecting an FAQ, and then clicking "Contact Support" at the bottom right. Expect to wait 7-10 days before hearing anything.

I've had more luck phoning them - UK companies are notoriously bad for responding to online queries. Phone number is difficult to find, but it does appear in Xara X's online help (but not X¹), or you can get it at http://www.bt.com -> Directory Enquiries. Xara is in Hemel Hempstead.

Charles is the head cheese there at xara. He just posted last week... I regularly see other members of xara in the list of members who are online. I think they read more than post...

I wonder if it would help if Xara disclosed roughly how many staff they have in the applications business.

I suspect they might have less than say 10, including a manager, plus one or two on the marketing/sales side? So the amount of customer support they can provide is limited.

From the indications I have seen the staff at Xara Ltd. probably numbers in the 20-30 range.

Hi. Xara owns these forums, and we sometimes post here. But not in an official capacity; it's mostly for graphics users to chat with each other.
