I think I'm getting it. I added a little more texture and a couple of accents. I'm afraid to do anything else. Any suggestions?

Shading and shining shapes I usually paint with freehand tool... use black or white colors - feathered (sometimes a lot) and transparent. Play with size, shape of object, ammount of feather and transparence until I'm satisfied with shine.

    Borlip,
Your flowers have grown and so has the picture. The third one is the best - in colour and in composition. I like it! Neil

Peter P. - Where are your images? Put up or shut up. Some of us went out of our way to try to make you feel welcome. You now seem intent on proving you are a looser.

Everyone is allowed to have a personal opinion.
Like with music, dance, painting, you don't need to show that you can better than the artist, before you are allowed to come up with an opinion.
I'm not one of those who just says "I like it too", just to keep the "happy family feeling" alive. It's called democracy. They have some books about it in the library, just check it out.

If you like to call me looser and ask me to shut up, well sorry, I don't like to go on that level.
I would advice you to use those words for people from your same background.

Borlip, it's amazing what one can accomplish by simply analyzing there own image. The end outcome is a huge improvement and I like it a lot. Great image

Okay Peter P. I acknowledge your right to an opinion. My opinion was expressed in my remark to you.

Have a nice day. I do look forward to seeing the images you post. Really.

    Regards, Ross
