Changing Printable area

I print to a canon color copier and the printable area as given in print preview does not reflcet true capability of the printer.
Is there any way to change this values?

The printable area is determined by the printer driver; you cannot go beyond the limits set by the printer itself (i.e., no edge-to-edge if your margins are set at 1/8"), so you need to read your manual to see what the margins are set at.
