Here is an idea for planet rings. I like making concetric circles and flattening them. It gives the correct aspect ratio to the ring. I used a circle to cut the ring. It needs to be cut because you cannot have an object in front and behind the same object. Gary suggessted some tilt. See what you think. I also had an idea of controlling the placement of objects around the ring. I made a drawing of a ring made into segments for positioning objects and getting the size correct. Rich
