I've installed the fills from my Xara X disc.

You can download them from Xara's web site as well.

From Xara help file: To create a custom brush

    1. Draw the object or objects you want to use as the brush (see Tips).

    2. If necessary select your brush design - see Selecting objects.

    3. Select the Freehand & Brush Tool.

    4. Click Create Brush.

    5. Give the brush a name so you can identify it in the future. You can use any unique name.

    6. Click OK to create the brush.

If you open a file with the brush on it, the brush becomes available in the Line Gallery. Even if you have 3 or 4 other pages open.

    One step further,

So if you want your custom brush to always be available, paste it to or create it in a document with a format you use most often, and then: File > Save Template and check the box in the dialog labeled, "Use as Default Template".

Just a quick note - don't go crazy with the brushes (especially bitmap), they will really bog down the start up. (Guess how I figured that one out http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/wink.gif).
