    Something different today: a soho desk and conferecnce table combination. Less is more ;-} Notice the room for your legs - no walls at either side, so you can turn around freely without bumping to a steel rod.

    This is just a sample I've made for an acquisition...

    Orders can be placed here: (well, I don't know if they will sell it) ;-]

    Hi Jens,

    I like that design very much. How would you include a network interface that could be wired to CAT5e? I think it could be incorporated in the angled support shown at the far end of the desk.

    That's one solution. However, I would prefer a more flexible one: a large 'clip' or clamp that can be fixed to any part of the desk, with chained boxes hanging down and ending in a lead filled foot.

    The alternatives are almost endless. **If** I will get the job, I will start working of it as well for sure, but if not... as I said, it's just for an acquisition of a new client, done in 2 hours including ideation.

    All I wanted to demonstrate is a different approach in shape and color - check THIS to see what I mean. One of the countless 'mee-too' solutions, though this one doesn't seem to be too bad for the 'new world' ;-}

    BTW, the support is a U-shape - see pic below.

    thanks a ton!

    <BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><font size="-1">quote:</font><HR> Thumbs up, all three of them (?) <HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

    At least three:

    01. one to hold the wife down
    02. one to lock the parrot's aviaries
    03. one for the trackball
    04. one to ring the bicycle bell
    05. one to start the monster diesel for the great escape if everything starts growing too high above my head

    So we end up with 5 ;-}

    Do you know of an open minded company or manufacturer with visions and guts to charter me for a month or so? I promise to churn out one complete furniture model each day, which translates into 30 new products! Then I'll leave, still giving support, but for another visionary company to continue the game. Oh Lord, how I wish I had at least an H-1 visa for 360 days... anybody around to trade my red passport for an H-1 visa? Europe SUCKS.

    Lemme see if I still know anyone at Herman Miller. I did an animated Web logo for them once.
