We have enabled the line and brush stroking and pressure sensitivity. For those of you who have tried this before, it's worth going back and playing with this again because we've made some changes. In particular the stroke shapes can now be treated as pressure profiles - try using the strokes and brushes together and you'll see what I mean. There are also a lot more stroke shapes.

Apart from that the biggest challenge from a programming point of view was fixing the problem with bevels on slower machines. This had a general impact on stability and is hopefully now sorted. Other changes: treatment of white in transparent GIFs, working with FrontPage, some Flash export and EPS import issues, the anti-aliasing 'halo' effect on inner bevels, a number of improvements with blends, contours and shadows, some button bar stretching problems. Various other smaller fixes or improvements. We've dealt with some of the speed issues in the Export Dialog, but generally speaking problems in this area are the last remaining significant problem for us (that's not to say we are not aware of other issues, simply that resolving them is relatively easy).

"try using the strokes and brushes together and you'll see what I mean. "
can you expand a little on this subject...can't see any differences.
    thanks.

    -Select freehand tool
-Select a pressure sensitive brush from the brushes contol drop down in the info bar (most of them are pressure sensitive)
-Create a freehand path in the usual way click dragging, brushes will be rendered interactively
-Select a stroke shape/pressure profile in the relevant control in the info bar
-> The brushes will now be rendered using the stroke shape as a pressure profile, so if you selected a stroke shape with a wide to narrow profile and the brush used pressure to modulate the size of the brush, the stroke will be use large brushes at the start and small brushes at the end of the path.

The brush or the pressure profile may be changed by selection in the appropriate info bar drop down
