First, set-up your page to the largest sized monitor you decide to support. In this case I have gone for 2048 x 1536
Place a guideline at the centre (1024) and at the left edge of your page 1024 less half the width of your page > 1024-(780/2)=634
Construct your background as you would like it to appear on a 2048 x 1536 monitor.
Select all objects, right click on them and select “create bitmap copy”
Create a new blank page and move this bitmap to it (page 2).
Slice off everything on the left hand side up to the 634 pixel guideline. This can be achieved by placing a rectangle over the area, selecting both objects and pressing CTRL+4
Reconstruct the bitmap with the smaller slice on the right and the larger on the left (page 3).
Set “View Quality” to 3 (Full Color), select both objects and create “bitmap copy”
This bitmap can now be copied into your 780 width page, deleted and then set as a background via the bitmap gallery.
N.B. This works in V5 but only works in V6 after a window re-size. Possible bug ?
