Gary, I'm not entirely sure, but, I think the file size has to be smaller than 20KB in order for the animation to work as an avatar. The one you are trying to get to animate is approx. 23KB.
I...
Looks cool, Gary, and it's a bargain to boot. I just added a copy to my Amazon shopping cart. I'm close to getting free shipping so I need to find an inexpensive used book to seal the order.

I see some very nice images as a result of this tutorial. Nice job everyone.
I've got to admit that, even though software video tutorials aren't my favorite, this has been one of the liveliest...
What a way to start off with your first post on TG. Welcome Mike.
Bang up job. Don't just stop at the clock, though. The clock would look even better with a section of fireplace mantle to sit...
Sounds like a plan to me:
1. Please yourself!
2. Please the masses.
3. Let everyone else catch up, if they please!
I look forward to your next tutorial.
BTW, the Taming and Grooming Xara...
Thanks Gary. The 12-sided die was just a 'quickie'. I think I might have another go and try to construct a more photo-realistic die with some supporting scenery.
As to video tutorials, I like...
Congratulations on The 'New' Xara Xone and the first tutorial of the revamped site and the new year, GDB. The Xone is looking good, and different.
I found the video tutorial entertaining. Beyond...
One way to erase without having a dedicated 'Eraser Tool' in Xara Xtreme, Xara Photo & Graphic Designer, and Xara Designer Pro.
OK, maybe it's more constructive to demonstrate why a dedicated...
Say what? Let the buyer beware of what, exactly? All Xara products come with a fully functional 30 day trial and a full 30 day money back guarantee. Almost 60 full days to discover if you like...
Erasers? Nope, you still don't need them. Coleen, try 'Locking' the 'Live Effect' before performing any Add, Subtract, Intersect, Slice, etc. operations on an object with a 'Live Effect' applied to...
Toonicorn, on the other side of the coin, I've been using Xara products for 3 years, or so, and haven't thought once about using or needing an eraser tool. Other tools, yes! An eraser, no. Vector...
Beaten to the punch by Frances! Way to go, though. I'm glad she helped you locate a backup version of your project file.
If you are going to be be generating a lot of complex shadows using the...
Sorry for your loss, mconeillster. Welcome to TG, though.
It appears that you lost at least 3 opportunities to save your project during your 3 sessions of development. No matter what computer or...
You are most welcome, Cheryl. I do have my moments and I'm glad I could help you.
Be sure to show us the finished drawing/card,
Harry
Cheryl, give the attached file a try and see what you can do with it. I opened your snowman10 file in XDP6 and saved it, then I reopened it in XXP4 and resaved it for you.
Maybe you'll get...
Cheryl, your snowman2.xar file opens for me in XXP3.2 (with error that it was created in a later version, XXP4 (no errors), XXP5 (no errors), and XDP6 (no errors). On the other hand, the...
Nice job, Brad. Your attempt is looking mighty fine to me.
Here's a link to a thread, Simple Tut, started by stygg2003 showing the results of his go at duplicating the vector tuts+ Create a Milk...
Welcome to TalkGraphics Miss Theresa! I hope to see a lot of future postings from you.
Now for the logo critique...
Unfortunately, the logo doesn't do much for me, especially for a web design...
I'm sorry that you feel the need to step down as moderator, Steve. I think you've done a bang-up job of the task and everything else that keeps TalkGraphics running smoothly. I feel that Magix,...
Penny, that's one fantastic tapestry. Thanks for posting the slightly larger view. Is there any chance I can get you to post a close up view of a small section of your tapestry so we can carbon...
Thanks for the tip Sylvan, but it's too late. I just received my new Pentax K-x camera outfit two days ago. Now all I have to do is figure out how to use it effectively and to my advantage. So far...
Nice job, as always, BP.
For anyone else that's interested, the compass appears to be a vector tuts+ tutorial and is available here, How to Create a Golden, Vector Compass in Illustrator.
And a few more...

Good show all.
Here's a few of mine...
