Re: Nav Bar and placeholder issue

I've tried to replicate it but I don't get the problem you are having. Could you post the code used in the placeholder?

Re: Nav Bar and placeholder issue

How about "Bring to layer in front" and then "Bring to front".

Re: Nav Bar and placeholder issue

If you click on the navbar and then go to Arrange>Bring to front - does that do the trick?

Re: WD MX Premium Slide Shows

Sorted this - for anyone else that would like to get rid of the radio buttons (or bullets), right click the page and go to "Web page properties". Click on "HTML code (head)" and paste the following:...

Re: WD MX Premium Slide Shows

I'm very greatful to you all - excellent advice.

The Nivo Slider is close to the answer - thanks Drwyd. The only problem is I can't get rid of the radio buttons beneath it. Tried covering them...

    WD MX Premium Slide Shows

Just a quick question having just upgraded to WD MX Premium.

I upgraded for the new non-flash widgets but I'm a little disappointed. They all seem to move far too quickly for my purposes, both in...

    Re: Xara Web Designer 6

If you use place holders, yes. But if you just place an image on a page as most of us do, no - the image is still given a number name.

    Re: Naming exported images

Unfortunately not. Graphics do now maintain a static name, but you still can't control the name, so we are stuck with meaningless 26.jpg etc.

    Re: Xara Web Designer 6

I would have my credit card out immediately if Xara had solved just one problem - the ability to name images. Now that images keep static names, I don't understand why it has not been implemented.

    Re: Naming exported images

I agree that the ALT attribute is useful, but there are times when it is inappropriate given IEs habit of popping up the text.

Xara is very much aimed at people who wish to build commercial sites....

    Re: Naming exported images

I was sorry to see that this issue doesn't seem to have been patched.

We stopped using this software because the image names kept changing which meant we had to do a complete upload every time. ...

Many thanks for your excellent answers.

Point 1 - Thank you Soquili - worked out how to do that.

Point 2 - I see the problem, thank you Merlin_AZ. Perhaps a drop down list of recently used ftp...

    Wish List

Forgive me if this has already been done but I did a search and couldn't find any kind of Wish List for future versions. Having worked with Xara WD for a while now, I have one or two wishes that I...

I was sorry to see this thread coming to an end as I have the same problem and a solution would be very much appreciated.

I have (hopefully) attached a .web file that demonstrates the problem. ...
