Re: Cannot edit bitmaps with PhotoPaint

Just FYI, I fixed it by doing a repair "install" of the Graphics Suite. Whatever registry or file or bit of code that was slipping was negated.

    Thanks for your help though!

Re: Cannot edit bitmaps with PhotoPaint

No, I meant the File Association Editor.

I don't know where I need to stick the .dll

When I try to run the FAE, I get this error:

Component 'COMCTL32.OCX' not correctly registered: file...

Re: Cannot edit bitmaps with PhotoPaint

It didn't help. I really don't understand. This just started today and I haven't changed any settings.

Might it be because I uninstalled my trial of Xara??

    Cannot edit bitmaps with PhotoPaint

    This problem just arose today.

I have a file with some imported bitmaps and when I use Edit Bitmap, it opens MS Paint. I have read of this problem and I did the F8 reset and the file association...

Re: Is Corel Draw Suite X4 worth the upgrade price

I just installed the trial and I would say that depends on how much of an UI stickler you are. The UI is much cleaner, the icons friendlier. Otherwise, you're paying for a few minor tweaks.

    But...

    Re: Computer Game Character Vectors

    Neat!

Let's see, that's Sonic the Hedgehog, Pac-man, Donkey Kong, Crash Bandicoot, Ray-man, Mario, and Minnish Cap Link. :)

    Yeah, I'm a nerd.

    Re: my website

Actually, I'm quite pleased to know there's a Christian out there who isn't afraid to say so. The internet is rife with anti-religious types and the faithful are often encouraged (directly or...

    Working with Bleeds?

I understand the concept of bleed and live area, I'm just confused about how Draw X3 interprets this.

I want to print something on 8.5" x 11" with standard 1/4" bleeds. So I set up a bleed of .25...

    Tabular Data

I am curious how I go about setting up tabular data in DRAW. I create a lot of directories, lists of manufacturers, delivery schedules and so on in my work, and so tabular data is a must. How do I do...

    Re: Four-Page Spread?

Well, it was laughably easy to accomplish what I wanted. :) I was overthinking things and going by the diagrams that Corel defaults to. I thought a booklet had to have 8 pages.

    I actually prefer...

    Four-Page Spread?

Kind of miffed, at the moment.

I do a lot of the design work for our company and I've recently been granted a copy of DRAW X3. Before, I was stuck using Publisher.

In the past weeks, I've been...
