Let me just say this: I know how to create a base tile without outlines and use it in a large square to create a pattern in Xara (bitmap fill + repeating pattern, resize the pattern inside the square...

You have to hold the CTRL while you move the handles to keep the ratio.

I forgot to explain that I'm using the bitmap fill to create the pattern.

1- imported the base tile
2- created a 20"x20" square (without outlines)
