I still like the colour buttons, they made interacting with the software a bit more pleasant. From the screenshots it looks like Affinity has some colour to their UI buttons and it looks good too.
I haven't tried ChatGPT myself but it looks amazing what it can do. The only new AI tool I've really tried a bit is Bing image creator which seems kinda nice too but sometimes it can generate...
Another thing you could do but might be inconvenient is to use the first page in the design for version/caching control while you're working on the site. So for example name your first page "sitev1"...
Not sure, but I'm wondering if it could be a wide desktop page accidentally in a narrow mobile variant. You could try duplicating a working page and then bring over what you need from this bad page...
That's a nice and neat looking unit. Amazing how much PC they can fit into such a small form factor these days.
Very nice, congrats Gary.
Aw man, RIP Larry/Wizard.
Interesting, takes a bit to digest all of that, thanks Acorn.
I just downloaded a v22 update which seems to have the new UI. It's darker than the previous versions. Initial thoughts are it's a bit...
I'm not sure if you've seen it already but here's a pdf guide that tries to explain how they both work together.
It's tricky to explain in a concise way but I try to summarize it with the...
Ah thanks Acorn, I did not try using a space, that is good to know.
The naming convention I'm using for tags/class names is eg. cms-product-price-456789 , cms-page-content etc. any character can...
Request for HTML publish to retain hyphens and underscores in custom text style names.
For example; currently "my-style" publishes to HTML as class name "my-45style"
and "my_style" publishes to...
Thanks Acorn, yes with the CMS option you can create an article or category (basically a web page), call it "Members" or whatever and then as Acorn says just limit access to it by selecting the...
Thanks Gary, it sure is a significant update since the last public release version which was about 2 years ago.
Thanks Egg, hope you like the new version. :-bd
Hi all, just a quick post to let folk know I released a big update to the CMS the other day and for those interested you can check out what's new in the blog post below..

That looks cool, nice detail.
It looks like the problem is on your le-pays-de-dabo page so you need to have a look at that page and check if anything is overlapping the menu links. Check you don't have for example duplicate menus...
Ha the photo background looks really cool and the little jank on the right barrier as it drops down. Nice work.
I like the shadow but if you feather the shadow edges more in particular at the start/end of the train and make it even more subtle I think it will look good, think of it as just shadowing out some...
The train looks great Egg. I would suggest maybe a shadow under it but then you might need shadows elsewhere and not sure if it fits with the look you're going for.
I agree the easy resizability...
Thanks for the info on easing Simon, I will give this a go.
Egg, you can also export as avi too, I was attempting to use it for making a simple video intro so avi is ideal for that.
Nice animation. svgator, looks interesting. I gave up on trying to do an animation in Xara the other day because I couldn't see a way to do easing.
Thanks for the extra reference information Acorn. I imported a few of the widgets from the catalog and opened the downloaded xwr files which is how I found <Classes>xr_reset</Classes> so I reckon it...
That's really cool Acorn, looks like people could create custom widgets with this. Is there any further documentation on it or did you just figure it out yourself?
Edit: Here are some additional...
