No, it won't. If it thinks that you're working on a photo, it'll work, but if you need to crop an item of which only part of it is a photo, Xara's cropper won't work.

Funny you should mention that.

I was married to Firefox for years but the new one is too ugly to look at, and the one I have always been using has a "memory leak" problem and completely freezes...

Probably the thing I do most is making little items and exporting them to jpeg or gif or whatever.

Corel has a "selection only" button on the export screen which worked....I mean when it worked.

Actually I am loving it. My experience with Corel, no offense intended, was unpleasant every minute. Xara is cleaner (I love clean) and things seem to have good names. Hasn't crashed yet...
