Yes, I agree. But when you click on the icon a window opens offering the superior product, from the CD/DVD. I have used it in DP6 and it is excellent. The enhanced program is PanoramaStudio.
When trying the Panorama maker a window pops up saying the free Panorama Maker is available on the DVD. I can find no sign of it.
I did have it installed in DP X. The Magix site gives a sample...
I definitely do. I find the plot a bit hard to follow at times but I usually get the gist of the story. The really odd part is that I often return to the manual and things that weren't clear often...
Glad I'm not the only one confused. Perhaps Xara can look into correcting the confusion. I realize it hard to verify all the details in the manual.
Page 287 of the DPX9 manual refers to a Content Aware Photo Resize tool that is available in the Button palette window. It also says this button is not shown by default. But I see a button with that...
Thanks. I'll:) move to install the links.
Anybody have experience with using Topaz plugins with Designer Pro? Can the two be integrated successfully? Problems?
Thanks. It's clear now.
I have installed the 64-bit version. I noticed that some aspects are not available in this version that are in the 32-bit version. Could somebody show me where to go to find out these details. AND Is...
Angelize, you've got the idea. In my case it's an arrow going into a buttock, hence the round shape. The feathered arrow makes the shadow complex. But I think your method is the way to go. Thanks for...
I hesitate posting the image I'm working on. It's a Valentine card to point a general direction. The target (so to speak) or main subject consists of two roundish globes upon which the true valentine...
It is possible to take a floor shadow and curve it around an object? Or does it have to stay straight? Thanks
Thanks for the hint, worked perfectly. I had found the window but wasn't sure that it was the right place for what I wanted..
I would like to change the width of just one page so I could show a mouse-over image that is wider than my standard page. I seem to recall this is possible but can't figure out how from the book. Any...
Thanks for the hints. It does seem to work but so much depends on window size and screen size that it's hard to know exactly will happen. But you are right: it does work. I quit too soon.
I seem to recall there being problems with mousedown effects in Firefox and Chrome. I now discover that when I link to a particular part of a page Firefox an d Chrome only take me to the page, not...
Thanks to all. The tutorial was excellent. My trouble was that I was just playing, warming up!, and just missed the "link" thing because I wasn't actually making a website at the time and didn't...
I greatly appreciate all the tutorials made by volunteers. They have been of great assistance to me over the years.
After an absence of a year or so I returned to Designer Pro to create another...
Thanks for the tip. I had missed that window and was quite frustrated by not having full-size images. I now can do it!
Only problem now is that after making my modification (Magic Eraser) and saving...
When I import, or drag and drop, photos they are reduced to 400x300 pixels even I chose "Import as original, which was 3445x2584. So, when export the image back as a JPG all I get is the reduced...
You got the idea of my monthly display. It's the overall design that's got me worried, just too complex. Of the problems is how to get a comment attached to each picture I use photo pop up.
I...
I'm probably reaching too far (for limited abilities!) but my idea is to create a blank monthly grid with spaces for photos for each day as a "changing header". That way I could post a daily picture...
Not that I want to push you away from Xara but you might look to an outside slideshow program and link it back to your main page. Works for me. You can check out what I did at...
I would like to create a weblog that is more graphic than what you usually see, to mainly display photos with comments. I don't think WordPress can do what I want (still looking). My idea is to have...
