Would anyone know, in the single page template "Ultimate Theme" there is some sort of photo effect making the home page image black and white. Same effect for replacement photo. How can I remove that...
Thanks so much, Gary.
Thanks Gary! Yes I can search in the catalog and thumbnails do some up. If I select the thumbnail to insert I get the error.
Thanks all for the responses. Gary, I've been using this facility from within Xara for years so I likely agreed to Terms quite some time ago, although I can't remember that. I can access the content...
Thanks again! Yes it appears that all of the vector and images are pixabay as was the sample image I was trying. Although in the error it appeared not to be a Pixabay link...
Thanks very much for the response. Running as Administrator produced the same result. As far as I know (please correct me) Download All doesn't download all of the images and vector graphics...
Not sure if this is the correct place for this post, but here goes. It seems when accessing the online content catalogue (File > New From Content Catalogue) selecting an item, say a photo, and...
It outputs to PDF with .25" bleed. They do ask for .5" bleed and .5" safe around here for coroplast and for illuminated sign designs. My 1st version of 365 did it, so this is something new in V15. ...
Thanks for that. Here in Canada, my vendor base at least "requests" marks for press work and even vinyl in many cases. I'd be fine if I never had to think about printer marks :)

Thanks for the response, squire! Indeed it is, and I've never been able to get a good answer as to why. In my area, at least, whenever we're dealing with coroplast signage, they want .5 bleed and .5...
Interesting add note to this. With a normal .12" bleed on a larger 24" x 16" project, everything is fine. As soon as I bump the bleed to .5" or more, the printer marks do not export to PDF...
Well, since you've posted so many times, I'll face you, bow and slowly withdraw from the room.....
Hope it works out for you.

As a person that spends quite a lot of time in CAD and doing Gantt Charts, I'd love to see Xara get into something like! Hard to develop and to market so don't hold your breath.

Acorn, thanks for the comments. There was no high ground being sought, no gauntlet being laid upon the field. While there was a healthy amount of humor intended with my presentation of the word...
I've never found that type of aggressiveness productive. Have you actually contacted support though the Xara support ticket system? https://support.xara.com (top left "contact support") If you're...
As far as I can tell, you're not missing anything. That's part of the mouse trap, buy before you try. Xara is not alone in this. Most big developers are moving to a subscription platform and while...
Always great to hear from Dr. Gary Design himself, on any topic :)
UPDATE: This issue happens in DP11 but not in DP10. Maybe they fixed something that wasn't broken between versions :)

Drag and Drop embedding works well however, in a smartphone environment, the music player on the smartphone pops up in the middle of the screen. Would anyone know a way to avoid that short of going...
Yes it is the vertical space between the pages I would like to control, and thanks to Gary, Phil, & Mwenz for such valuable input. I am using single page view as a work around.
Thanks again,...
Thanks Gary, yes I use bleed regularly. I was hoping to be able to change the space between the bleed regions of two pages.
Again thanks for the response. Your contributions cannot be measured...
DP11 - Would anyone know if there is a way to increase the visible space between two pages of a design document (multi page view)? With multiple pages, the pages are very close together which seems...
Hi folks:
In DPx I am trying to use (paste in) some chinese text and for the life of me, I can;r figure out how to get it to work. Resultsm, depening on what font I use, are question marks...
Thanks to Albacore, and Gary both for taking time to respond with great advice. Actually, late last night, I figured I'd have another crack at it. So, in DPX, I used shapes to subtract the...
