Your text is exported as image because you have added shadow effect to it. Only plain text can be exported as text.
You can make e-mail link to work easily. Select the text of the link, open web...

Use left aligned text instead of fully justified.

Page transition effects are implemented with JavaScript. It is standards compliant and is compatible with all major browsers.
Although I'm not quite sure what do you mean by editing outside WD7?
