No, being thick tonight. Can't follow this thread at all.
Provided you have 'All Frames Visible' & 'Edit All Frames' it's a simple task to resize all objects within the animation. Then just export the animation as a gif choosing 'Page Content' as the export...
As far as I'm aware, an animation doesn't have a "Page & Layer Gallery", only an "Animation Frame Gallery".
Gary is correct. By default the animation page size is 480px x 320px. However if you go Utilities/Options/Page size you can change this to whatever you require.
