I guess I'm in a bit better situation than you are, being that I can export when logging off and then on again as Admin on Vista, and my XP SP2 PC hasn't had issues.

Just to a folder on my PC, I haven't tried setting up FTP to a real site. The folder is on my desktop, but I also tried just exporting to a folder such as c:\test\.
