    Re: Adobe commits suicide

Times do change. Quark ruled the publishing roost and was pretty expensive. Adobe came along with a cheaper pretender to the throne - inDesign. I think Quark is struggling these days.

    Adobe was...

    Re: Furniture Catalogue site

    Nice job Sketch.

I do have a question though - what is the purpose of the "t:" in front of the phone number?

On the promotions page it mentions a 2 DRAW wardrobe. 2 DRAWER!

    I'm not sure why...

    Re: Adobe commits suicide

Re: Be critical or be nice?

Obviously, if the website design does not bring results, the design is bad. Period.

Well I'm not so sure. You can have a website with poor, overpriced product. Can you really always say that the...

Here's hoping the situation improves. My wife has B12 shots too.

Have a great weekend - with or without Xara.

Lisa, I think you've already had assistance - check out the existing threads as I suggested and also Gary's suggestion.

    Re: Mobile Websites -Technical side

It's not much use having a new thread but forgetting to have any question in it.

If I remember correctly you wondered how to accommodate mobile sites using Xara.

    The favoured practice seems to...

Logarithmic tables. Those were the days!

We used a slide rule at school. Our maths teacher called them "guessing sticks".

  20. Re: Mobile Design??? (XARA Design Templates for Mobile Devices?)

Why is there this thinking that mobile design requires special templates?
