i had been looking for this for months ..... i found the light arrows by going to View // Display Lighting (why i didn't see it there the first time, i don't know)

i have had all text deleted and just a background texture (my default background texture) showing, and i don't even see them then

i went in and just applied a texture to the border, changed font to arial (because i didnt have the font that the o.p. had), and put a different texture to the text. i also fooled around with it but...

awhile ago, i turned the lights off (by hiding the lights). how do i turn these back on? i need to get the lighting from them to light up some dark areas on the item i am creating.

also; you might try taking the shadow off if you need it to be smaller still

your "problem" will be solved if you load the original image as a jpg instead of a gif .... i had a class where i accidentally loaded it as a jpg and it wouldn't let me save it as gif ... which was...

thanks i got the gradient fill .... now just to fix the text with image

whenever i try to put the text in, it makes a "doughnut" out of the picture instead of keeping the sphere .... and putting...

i kind of wanted it to rotate independently (maybe in the opposite direction) or use a different effect for the text.

also .... i have need to use a gradient text. can you tell me the easiest...

i don't know if you still have the original image; but if you export it as a .gif you can upload it to the internet using one of many web hosts that handle graphics, and use the following html code...
