Re: First Try at a website with Xara

Just checked 12 computers with IE -the links work on 8 of them. All latest version of IE. Xp or Vista doesn't make a difference. I suspect this is a malware issue.

Re: First Try at a website with Xara

I actually beta tested with about 20 computers and people, no one complained about readability. The idea is to get an innovative look in three dimensions, which is related to the technology of the...

First Try at a website with Xara

Not too bad for a $50 budget ($75 including coffee).

    Re: Show us your sites!

    Re: Show us your sites!

Can't be done. When text is rotated 45 degrees, the area of the link button is the whole square area under the rotated text, buttons then overlap. The triangles were the only real solution.
  8. Centering the Page vertically in a browser window

I have my page set at 760X700 size, which means it will fit within most monitors in the browser window without scroll bars.

The page appears centred horizontally, but vertically it is at the top...

    Re: Show us your sites!

This is the first time I've used this software, and I have to say I'm really impressed. I had zero problems after going live in any browsers.

I'm trying to make a website with a certain design that requires text buttons at 45 degrees.

The problem is that when you rotate text or an object 45 degrees, the area of the clickable button is...
