hmmm when i loaded on the web site it was, im a bit confused as to whats happening now !

hmmm i might just have to live with it, it seems no matter how i try to save the file in Infranview with 96dpi, it lightens the shade.
Oh well, thanks for all your help guys, im off to bed now and...
it definately seems to be infranview that is saving it with a lighter hue, ill have a play around with the save options in there.
thanks for trying, but that one is still the same, ie a bit lighter than the orignal.

wait, i think i know what caused the lighter shade, when i changed the dpi in Infranview to 96 instead of 72 and saved as a png file, it appears to have lightened the tone slightly.

Sure, let me check a couple of things first, make sure im not losing it !
so now hopefully you can see the logo with the writing at the top left, is slightly lighter in shade than the rest of the (green) banner.

well when i save the newly amended logo and pop it back on my local web site on my pc, the shade is slightly lighter than before i made any changes, and i have not adjusted any of the...
ok its not quite over yet, i managed to install Infranview and resize the DPI to 96 save the image and open it again in Xara.
I have also noticed, the image is being opened as a slightly lighter...

yes i can see that, but i dont have infran view, how do i change it to recognise it at the 72dpi 330 x 100 size again...
