I like the one with the highlights also. Thouse were added as an afterthought. I like this logo, you can do many interesting thing with it. I have a few other thing in mind. We will see what comes...

I gave the superman logo a try using the extrude tool. I like how it add a different dimension. I add some color highlights to one of them.
