Did I hear my name?
In case you are interested, my old Xara thumbnail viewer is available here (and I have the source somewhere if any one needs it).

Daniel,
Not sure if you know this already, but the new buffer overflow stuff (Data Execution Prevention or DEP) is now not enabled by default in XP SP2 for normal applications, even on hardware...

Just for fun, I had a go at creating a Xara demo video. If the forum plays ball, it should be attached to this message.
Can I tempt anyone else to try making a Xara demo video? To avoid blowing...

If it helps, I have a .xar with all the keyboard shortcuts in here (here is the bitmap preview).
You are welcome to modify or update it (or use it for anything you like).

Hey Gary http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/wink.gif - I am not 'long gone'. I haven't posted much recently but I do still read the forums to see what is going on.
As you may have guessed...
I made this page a long time ago that tried to show this trick. Reading it again now, it isn't that clear (certinaly not up to Gary's high standards!) but it might give you some clues.

DeepX: I was wondering if you could email me at jpaynejm@dsl.pipex.com. I just wanted to ask you something outside of the forum.

There are some good reviews of mini cases here (also see the link to the previous article on the same site).
Solved! Now I know it is not just my computer I went looking for what could be causing this problem. It turns out that it is a known bug in the forums software; this thread on the Infopop's web site...
Thanks for updating your site Gary.
The only thing that is missing is a nice icon! If only I could think of a web site where there are loads of talented artists who could draw one ...
Gary, I think the problem you are seeing is due to the XaraOnline servers going down. When their servers go down (seems to happen every few months) the browser can’t download the banner ad so it...
Thanks Egg! I thought it was just me. I'll try and contact the web master at Xara and see what is going on. Out of intrest, if anyone else gets this problem what browser and OS are you using. For...

Everyone: Thanks again for all you positive feedback. I have been looking into Windows 98/Me support but unfortunately I haven't been able to find all the bits I need to install either of them...
Everyone: Thanks for all the kind complements.
Dale: Sorry, my post was a bit misleading. The first link is to the installer for the DLL rather than the DLL itself. Everything should work if you...
