One final update: Acorn was spot-on regarding the problem with setting the page height to maximum and this has now been confirmed as a bug by Xara.

Yes, I did select the "share with all variants" but also found that, having done this, and reduced the text size for the mobile version, it also reduced the text size on the "Main" variant.

I've simply deleted the two variants for the time being while the problem is sorted out, have uploaded the main site and will recreate the variants from scratch
