Windows 64 bit does not dispaly thumbnail of files in explorer. Now I have discovered a work-around to do this and thought I would share it with you. If this has been mentioned before...

This happens when I use the backspace key to delete something. Sorry for troubling you.

I am doing the deleting with the keyboard or the delete button in Xara itself (the one with the red X). Not using cut to delete.

Tracing may do it but if your image is too complex, the resultant trace may be too complicated for an outline.

Go to utilities > Options > Check: Give new objects most recent attributes - Apply / OK.

You will have to change text only once and Xara will continue to use the new attribute ( Font ) till...

Creat any shape with a bitmap fill.
Adjust the fill handles to be vertical and horizontal, or, as desired....
