PROBLEM SOLVED; All it took was to install the 64 bit version of java. Sorry for all the inconvenience, it's an age related problem.
I open Web Designer 32 bit, load the file, export the file, click the Preview whole website. The file works in the preview window. I then click the IE stand alone and the file runs there also.
I...
Uninstalled the 64 bit version. Reinstalled the 64 bit version, imported the file, ran the program, V9 will not run the applet. the 32 bit version runs it fine. The 64 bit version tries to run it,...
V9 64 bit will not run the applet. I am through with it.
Thanks. I could not get V9 64 bit to run an applet, but had no trouble with the 32 bit version which runs it fine. More than likely I got the files all screwed up, so am going to give it another...
Is it possible to run all three versions (not at same time)?. I am thinking of reinstalling the 64 bit WD9 to see if I can get it working.
I feel like an idiot. The zoom was the problem. I did not set the zoom, it happened when I imported the file. Problem solved.
I don't mean multipage view. When I imported the file into WD9 the pages which covered a big part of the canvas showed up as small pages in the middle of the canvas and with as grid.
Nope just a regular ZT computer with Windows 7 and IE 10. I got the spare menu bar fixed when I fixed the full screen. Now I just have to get the pages back to the right size. I can turn off the...
9551595516When I installed WD9 32 bit and imported the file from WD MX Premium 8 it works, but I get what shows in the pics. Also when I go back to MX 8 it also opens in full screen every time and...
Downloaded the 32 bit version and installed it. It works but the 64 bit version does not work.
Well I linked the .jar, .class, bgcopy class. v9 tries to play the applet, but fails. V9 finds everything, all the .gif's, midi's, .jpg's and plays or displays all of them, with the exception of...
Sorry I did not include my products in profile. I am using Web Designer MX Premium V8 and Web Designer 9 Premium. The reason I want to clear the list is there are too many there and since I let the...
I'm working on it. Guess my thought that the program looks in the directory it is in to find the files. I know it finds all the .gif's and midi's and actually finds the .jar executable. So it must...
That's not very good. It's like not being able to clear the Trash can.
How do I delete the Open Recent (not backups) files?
I will have to work with that a while. So far I have placed all the files associated with V8 in a V9 folder, then saved the V8 version under a different name in the V9 folder. That does not work...
I understand what you are saying, but the program already finds the correct file but does not execute it the same as MX 8. Now I just tried to run the program saved by version 9 with MX 8. I got...
The class files are in the same directory as the Web Document. If it goes someplace else then I don't know where.
The code is letter for letter the same9546195462
The first pic is the working version in version 8 The second is what shows up in 9
I imported a working web site from Web Designer MX Premium 8 into Web Designer 9 Premium. Everything works except an applet that was used with a placeholder. Does anyone know if Web Designer 9...
I decided not to ungroup anything, because the Group menu item is constantly greyed out. It seemed to be pretty simple, select the navigation bar then select Ungroup from the Arrange menu, or...
I am using version 7.02 now, I notice there are two updates, 7.03 and 7.04. Will I miss anything if I bypass 7.03 and just get the 7.04 update?
Second question: I can ungroup my navigation bar...
I have decided against purchasing Xara 3D Maker 7 because of the quirks in the editing and the scrolling that is terrible. If Xara ever gets around to fixing the next version I will revisit. Thanks...
