For all you who remember Chris Dickman, founder of CorelNet and then i/us.com, you'll be happy to know he's back with a new site. GraphicsNews.com.
The site is still in final beta but it promises to be interesting and fun.
He has a contest to vote for your favorite software application including Xara X.
Have a look and let Chris know what you think.

I think the site is not finished yet. And I think setting up areas for different software, e.g. Xara, is going to be the responsibility of the software companies and/or their users. But I could be wrong about that.
I sent Chris the URL to this thread and maybe he can address that question.

Hi Turan:
As Gary says, GraphicsNews isn't a content site in the usual sense, so you're right, there are no "areas" with tutorials and so on. We don't want to duplicate what's already out there. The focus is really news postings, with the ability for anyone to submit news related to graphics, and then other visitors can comment on it. Think of Slashdot.org, but covering just graphics.
There's lots more on the site, but the idea is that visitors contribute what they like to it, whether that's news, links, reviews, images in the Gallery, etc. I'd love to see some great Xara examples in the Gallery area, for example, to show the non-Xarans what's possible.
Regards
Chris
