Looks like a mat that you would put a plant pot on top of.
Is that what you was trying to create?!
It's bloomin' good, though.
I made the resource in Xara. It is much easier to create there. I trimmed the bottle brush bush, and found these shapes on the branches. I made a repeating stroke.

Yes it does Rik. My first thought was of bees or wasps residing inside.
