Mould tool issue

Could someone please confirm the following behaviour with the mould tool.

I have an irregular shaped object and a mould shape copied to the clipboard.
when I paste the mould to the irregular shape it flips upside down. If I apply the mould manually it is fine.

I draw a simple rectangle
Converted it to editable shapes
Clicked on the 'shape editor tool'
Pushed in three sides of the rectangle
Copied this new shape
Drew an odd shape using the 'freehand tool'
Clicked on the 'mould tool'
Clicked on the 'paste envelope' (the 1st clipboard icon)

Yes, my shape has also flipped.

It may depend on the 'rotation' of your mould envelope? Try reversing the direction of the line of your mould shape before applying it.

Thanks for the replies.

Tony - the mould was originally a rectangle so should be the correct way round anyway. I tried flipping the mould source but it makes no difference. I also forgot to mention the flip is vertical.

I didn't mean flip, I meant reverse the direction of the line, (reverse paths)

Had a reply back from Tech Support who have recreated the problem and admit it is a bug - not on the urgent fix list.
