As someone who is still on the trial Xara, I have one challenge that I would like to see:
Has anyone used Xara to make a chessboard with realistic pieces? Heck, while we are at it chuck in the hand of a player who's about to make a move.
Come on all you maestro xarans...show me what Xara can do :D

It would be far harder to do it in XXP and I'm not even going to attempt it.
With either piece of Xara software it would beat the heck out of doing a chessboard with Illustrator.
The chessboard is easy.
I have to go to work so no time for starting any of the pieces tonight.
Okay, here's a XXP Knight. ( I'm good at horses I am ;-} )

King, Queen, Bishop and rook scream:

It wasn't done in Xara, but just out of interest check out Jose Campoy's 3D chessboard here. It absolutely blew me away.
That is awesome! Which program was that done with if not Xara? Blender? Lightwave? A ray tracer?
I have trouble spending too much time looking at Jose's work. It is so awe-inspiring that it almost makes me want to burn my computer.
This chess set, however, may be one of his best efforts. Truly amazing!
