Hi Guys,
I need some important info about Xara before I purchase. My aim is to make a website with a fairly large product comparison pages. It will not be a shop, just a simple comparison chart where the visitor will be able to choose 3 or 4 products in a category to compare.
Is there an extension or something that Xara will be able to use?

Sounds like you need some special scripting written for you - unless you can find one off-the-shelf and try to embed it using placeholder.
Before you buy, please understand that Xara Web Designer is not a HTML editor, that way you won't be expecting to see comparisons with Dreamweaver/FrontPage (or FP's new incarnation: Expression Web) Xara Web Designer is a HTML generator.
