Re: Publish Export Problem
Not a problem. It is the method Xara uses.
Even though you are publishing your site to the web, Xara published first to your computer and then publishes these files to the server. Yes, it's an extra step and a bit of bother, but that is just the normal publishing process.
If you have opted to publish changed files only, Xara compares the files published to your computer to those on your web host's server to determine what has changed.
Re: Publish Export Problem
Thank you for your reply,
But the problem is that the website does not publish, it shows the error above in the pic, you click OK and return to WDMX without publishing.

Re: Publish Export Problem
Hmm.
OK. I just tried to publish a current site and got the first message then the second.
Have you checked your publish settings in Website Properties > Publish to see if anything has changed?
I have not encountered this problem but there are always things that crop up for unknown reasons.
Try copying a page and pasting the page in a new website document.
Then using your current settings see if you can publish the page. You don't need to go beyond the saving your file stage. If this is successful then there might be something that is corrupting your file.
Re: Publish Export Problem
OK I have sorted it now,
Done what you said Gary with 2 pages, latest page and older page, but the problem was still occurring, not publishing.
Now then I had been exporting the site to "C:\temp\export" for some reason it did not like this location, so changed to a export folder on the desktop and all working now.
Thanks for your help Gary.
Re: Publish Export Problem
Doesn't sound like I was all that helpful, but I'm glad it worked out.
