Retrolift Photoshop Action

I recently downloaded this photoshop action (.atn file) from creativemarket.com which produces quick and easy retro-style 3D effects on text.
The results are raster, of course, but can be tweaked using a bitmap tracer to give vector output.
I like this a lot and on offer at $12.00, it's a good deal in my opinion and I have attached the first design I made using it.

did it all in Xara well under 10mins (including looking for fonts on Google)

perhaps..

but if you are doing a lot of work then Bob's way may well be a lot easier [which is not the same as quicker] than messing about with blends, and if you are not actually concerned about vector it will be far far quicker too
